Leh, the capital of Ladakh, is the largest town in the region. It is located to the north of the Indus river at a height of 3600m above the sea level.
Leh offers a wide array of sightseeing. The nine-storey Namgyal Palace built by King Singge Namgyal in the grand tradition of Tibetan architecture is the cynosure of eyes of the Locals and attracts the Tourists from all over the world.
